Treasure Trove
Hey!

This book is a treasure trove of recipes for those of us who are becoming increasingly environmentally conscious. There are recipes for your pets, for your health, for food, for beauty products, almost everything you'll need. Now, there is one complaint I have, and that's the frozen foods section. Seriously, they outline how to freeze different foods. In detail. And it takes up several pages. The ingredients lists are hilarious. Water and whatever fruit you are freezing. Seriously. I'm sorry, I think I could have figured out freezing foods on my own. Even if I couldn't, the internet would probably have more information and wouldn't cost as much as this book.

However, other than that one section, this book has been a great help. I've only tried a few of the recipes, but they've all turned out great. Right now, my best friend has borrowed the book, and I'm ticked at her for not giving it back, she loves it so much. I guess I'll have to buy another one just for her.

Very useful book
I read this book cover to cover and have at least 1/3 of the pages flagged for use. There are many helpful hint, tricks and ideas in this book for everything from cleaning your fridge to baking cookies. I have already used some of the cooking recipes with great results. The homemade cleaning solutions have been used as well, and they do clean better than many of the chemical ones on the market. The best part is that they don't cause my hands to break out in a rash or to dry out. This book is well worth the purchase price and would make a great gift for anyone - such as a newly married couple, or someone purchasing their first home, or someone who just wants to "green" up their routine a little. Several guests to my home have picked up this book and become engrossed in it immediately and then gone online to order it before leaving. There is just SO MUCH in this book that I may have to buy another because my copy is already getting dog-eared.

This is a wonderful book! I was delightfully surprised with the contact. It includes recipes too! Easily understandable recipes and products used for the recipes are not hard to find. Good choice for anyone looking to start saving money making things from scratch!

This books is AWESOME!!
I absolutely LOVE this book. I just got it yesterday and I can't put it down. It is my new "creative juices flowing" bible. I love that the recipes are simple to understand and of items we all know about. I haven't seen very many ingredients that I've never heard of before like so many others. These are things I know my family and I will definitely enjoy trying. I'm planning to make my first batch of corn bread today. This is definitely a MUST HAVE!!
