From the Editors
This smaller version of George Foreman's famous "as seen on TV" Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine is perfect for preparing quick, low-fat meals for one or two people. The double-sided grill surface heats in less than five minutes to an even temperature perfect for grilling most foods. The high grill grooves and slight angle allow fat to run off the grill as food cooks, and the nonstick surface requires little or no additional fat for cooking. The plastic, grooved spatula works well to scrape off any bits that may have stuck to the surface.
Meats and fish are the obvious choices to take advantage of the Grilling Machine's fat-reduced grilling, but vegetables and tofu dogs work well too. The double-sided grill means food cooks twice as fast, leaves attractive grill marks, and generates surprisingly little smoke. --Julija Gelazis

Kitchen counter Grill
The George Foreman Grill is as it was delivered. A good grill. But as hard as I looked, I didn't see the comments by the seller. No problem using a 2nd hand grill. it heats up fast. But there was no grease catacher or grill scraper.
Counter Top Greaser
LEAKED GREASE ON MY COUNTER TOP: I cooked BBQ Chicken, indivudal meat loaves, onions, peppers and potatoes on my grill and they came out very well. They were a little dry but I thought that was because of the lack of using grease. I'm pretty sure that as one becomes accustomated to less greasy food, they would appreciate the flavor imparted by this grill. So if you still have the grill, I recommend trying it again. My problem is that the grease that drips from the grill leaks all over my counter. That is a mess to clean up. I noticed no one else had the problem so I assume that I am doing something wrong. Even though I grilled eight burgers, six peppers a big onion, and four potatoes on it, clean up was as easy as one could expect from a non immersible item. Because any item occupies room on my counter, if I had to do it again, I would purchase one of those removable plated grills that does waffles, grilled cheese and "BBQ lines" instead. That way I could make waffles for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch and mini meat loaves for dinner and only have to wash it once!
Go Propane
The thing with George Foreman, stovetop pan grills, and electric grills in general is they may put what sort of looks like 'grill,' marks on the food, but it isn't real grilling. It is fast, healthy, and you can make some good tasting stuff, but you can do the same with a non-stick pan.
These things are not easy to clean. The flavor isn't there as well, so I threw mine away.
It's a great idea in many ways, made George far more money than even his boxing, but I'd suggest a mini propane grill as the best compromise between electric and charcoal/wood.
The Greatest
simple, small, easy to clean (just plug in for 30 seconds and sponge clean) - greatest in the world for burgers, fish and chicken - best $8 i ever spent - great product for one person - do not buy if you plan on cooking for a family, way too small
Nice Grill for the Price
The grill is like for one maybe 2 people but the non stick coating is good and the price was right. Removable plates would have been nice but you won't get that at this price point.
