Life saver
We got rid of our gas grill since we don't eat meat on a regular basis anymore. Birthday party due, steak and LOBSTER (my treat).
OK, the oven broiler works, right? Wrong. Everything works on the stove except broiler, hmm. Don't want to buy a new stove for a 'couple times a year broiler need', and steamed lobster and fried steak ... well they're just unappetizing!
Began online research. Found this (GGR50B) at a great price on Amazon. It easily held 3 steaks and 3 lobster tails, and they were soooooo yummy. Saw someone else's idea to toss wet paper towels on it, so we did that, and gosh, cleanup was a breeze.
Had a little grill like this a few years back and didn't like it. However, this large one with the domed lid was perfect. PLUS, we used it right outside the kitchen door (in the snow), so the house did not get all smelly :-)

Nuttin' but the best!
We have replaced all of the older gas grills in our myriad of rental units and are and have been using this grill. Our tenants and us speak highly of the ease of use and of the complete ease of cleaning up as the grill plates are removable and can be hand washed or even thrown in the dishwasher. We have been using these for about four years.

Missing part?
The grill is excellent especially for evenings we want easy grilled meat with short wait indoors. Why does this grill not come with the plastic spatula/scraper like the table top George Foreman grills for easier cleaning? I had to purchase it separately!

like almost everyone else i bought this because my apartment complex doesn't allow gas or charcoal grills. if they did than i would have dropped alot more money on a gas grill and never would have tried this one. i'm glad that wasn't the case. aside from the grill not having a way to secure the cover when you take it off and the design which doesn't really drain much grease, i love this thing. all in all i got what i needed and for a great sale price of $70. the grill surface is much larger than all the other forman's so it was a no brainer. in no way is this grill meant to be a replacement for a quality gas/charcoal grill. look at the price difference and understand that george forman grills, are what they are (cheaply made but efficient grills). so if you can't use gas/charcoal where you live than this is a good purchase. another option is the weber electric grills which to be honest i didn't buy because i didn't have the money (the grill plus stand will run about $260). they would probably last longer and outperform this one. weber is probably the top grill manufacturer in the the country.

This is my 5th GEORGE FOREMAN GGR50B INDOOR/OUTDOOR GRILL. I HAVE ONE AT MY WINTER HOME AND ONE AT MY SUMMER HOME. I LOVE IT. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO EAT HEALTHY, AND THE GRILL IS REMOVABLE AND WASHABLE WHICH IS A MUST HAVE. I KEEP MY WINTER ONE INSIDE ON THE RANGE TOP. HOPE THEY DON'T STOP MAKING THIS MODEL.
