With a heavy glass bottom and a handsome satin-finish 18/10 stainless-steel top, this syrup/honey dispenser has a quality feel. Pressing a thumb on its stout spring-loaded lever opens the spout. The dispenser holds about 1 cup, stands 5-1/2 inches high, has a plastic gasket beneath the top for a tight seal, and (except for the gasket) is dishwasher-safe. If you'd like a matching set, WMF also makes a sugar dispenser, creamer, and cocoa/cinnamon shaker.

A thing of beauty in so many ways
I was hesitant to purchase such a pricey honey dispenser, but my husband and I use honey in our tea many times a day and were in dire need of an attractive and functional dispenser. I have arthritic hands and all of that squeezing of the plastic containers that the honey comes in really gave me pains in the fingers. Now I can buy really big bottles and transfer it into the lovely dispenser. I have never liked the ones with the sliding thingy that gets all gooped up...this one lifts up and cuts off the flow when you release it. Can't imagine that there is a better one being made (totally dripless). It even comes with an additional washer. I am a kitchenware snob and was concerned that this might look too "modern" or "contemporary" in my home. It actually strikes me as classic, so I like it's looks quite a lot. The perfect marriage of form and function...love it.

Almost Perfect
Bought this dispenser after running through a bunch of regular dispensers. All of them would leak and the springs would eventually get stuck. This one has worked flawlessly in terms of dispensing maple syrup, hot or cold. Only little annoyance is that the sealing ring inside the cap sometimes slips inside the bottle while twisting the lid on. Not a major issue though. Highly recommended.

Great Honey Dispenser
This Honey dispenser does not drip or leak or make a mess, eliminating a long-term source of aggravation in our household. A good thing.

Pretty - Functional - a little tricky at first
So I am many things, but a honey dispenser installation expert I am not. This is a beautiful piece for my kitchen but for the "not so mechanically inclined", a little hard to figure out. The rubber ring goes on top of the glass, and the metal piece seals around it. Whew! I am now enjoying it every morning.

Elegant, functional, well-made product
The only sweetener I use much is honey, so it is left out a lot. This is perfect for that use as it is so attractive -- but it is also functional as it makes honey easy to pour without ugly, messy drips all over the container and countertop. I also have the WMF stock pot and find they make top quality products.
