The one thing that is not retained is the fat, which runs out along channels in the slightly slanted grill to a dishwasher safe drip-tray out front. The grill marks provide caramelized flavor and an appealing apperance for steaks, chicken breasts, seafood, veggies and more. While your food is cooking you can also warm up buns, tortillas, rolls and other bread items on top. After the party's over simply scrape with the plastic spatula and wipe clean with a paper towel or sponge. This model is an ideal size for cooking food for one or two people.
