Great item
The only concern I had about this colander were the size of the holes. But I have used this twice now with angel hair pasta and have not had any of the pasta find their way through the holes. I'll admit that I am biased towards All-Clad products but this colander is the best I have ever used/seen.

Solid stainless steel quality
Bought this colander because the cheap plastic melamine one we had been using had BPA in it. I wanted a stainless steel one and not an aluminum one. They say you're not supposed to eat off aluminum, and stainless steel is safer.

Quality is excellent. Doesn't sit in a pool of water at the bottom when placed on a counter. Handles are easy to carry. And it doesn't cut up the sponge when washing the interior / exterior. Only minor complaint would be that it's so heavy that it's hard to use one-handed.

It's Quality, BUT!!!
I have owned this for at least 4 years.

I have to say the Quality is certainly there,and will last forever.
I do find the holes too big sometimes, as someone else said, and I make whole wheat pasta's.

This Colander is deeper, and taller then my other colanders.
When I make Ravioli's and pour them into this, its a far drop (so to speak), and some of them fall apart.
This problem does not happen when I use one of my other colanders, that are more shallow,
and wider.

That said, it is good looking, and goes with my stainless kitchen.
Has nice sturdy handles.

When its not being used, I keep potatoes, or onions etc. in this in my walk-in pantry,
so nobody see's it.

Would I buy this again? NO.
Its pricey. I think I paid about 60.00 , and I like my nonstick one better,
and my other shallower and wider colanders.
Also I like colanders with feet on them, as they drain better then this ring at the bottom.
With the ring at the bottom, the water fills up in the ring in my sink, and I have to lift it up to let the water drain from the ring, and turn it to the side abit!!.

If your looking for a stainless colander to keep on your kitchen counter,
with fruit inside etc, This one would be the one you want. It does look very nice.

All Clad Colander
The quality of this colander is what you would expect from All Clad. However, a very important factor in my decision to purchase All Clad products is the fact that they are made in the USA. This colander is made in China.

Just right
Perfect little colander. Heavy though, because it is well made. I expect I will never buy another colander in my life. And it goes in the dishwasher...what a bonus.
