Wanna be hgtv designer
I love this magazine and it's hard to find at times. Price was good and it only took 4 weeks to get. Got my first magazine in the mail today, so gotta go and read it.
Ideas abound!
This magazine is an absolute must for the creative homeowner. The projects are well laid out with great diagrams and photographs which give you a great feel for the final look. The ideas are creative and many follow the PBS show, "This Old House." It's a great way to have frameable on-the-scene photos of Tommy Silva and Richard Trethewey from the show suitable for framing, in living color! The price from Amazon.com was under $10/year. It was the bargain of the year in my books.
Great Magazine full of Practical, Affordable Ideas for DIY'ers, Rehabbers and Landlords
This magazine is for "homeowners in search of practical, affordable & inspirational ideas for enhancing and maintaining their homes". I believe that the magazine delivers on all counts & have renewed my subscription.
We still maintain our subscriptions to other, "fancy" magazines like Architectural Digest & Dwell, but we find ourselves using TOH for variations of practical & affordable ideas. In fact, my spouse used the DYI step-by-step guide to install glass back splash tiles (he previously had only installed ceramic/porcelain tiles).
We also like that landscaping ideas are included in the magazine - a house is not complete without curb appeal & a friendly backyard.
Overall, I really like this magazine, and, for the subscription price, you will not be disappointed!
