For all you people that gave bad reviews maybe you should have used the product right . . . i bought one from target it was much cheaper than buying it online or over the phone. I've cooked breakfasts, lunches and many dinners and everything came out perfect. My non-stick surface doesnt come off and hasnt come off after many times being cleaned. Maybe your arent using yours properly, before everytime you cook something oil the GT with a brush dont use cooking spray that destroys non-stick surfaces and that why its coming off. I dont know if i was lucky and actually got one that works but mine works great. Try buying it at target and avoid online purchases or buying it off the T.V.

I am surprised that amazon.com has this below par, infomercial scam, wanna be cheff endorsement, in their website. Everyone that has suffered from buying this crap disguised as a griller? how bad and unsympathetic this scandalous outfit is and yet I find it in amazon.com? therefore validating their mere existence by one of the great companies in the planet? Blew me right out of the map. Like a wise and distinguished female friend said to me: "If you can not find it in walmart you probably do not need it" Hear, Hear! Words for the wise. The Xpress 101 sucks in every imaginable way possible. How can they still exist? Is this a land of Suckers? By now they should have been shut down and now, of all places, I see them in amazon.com? Please don't tell me this is so! Please tell me that amazon.com is not touching this one not even with a ten foot pole. This could ruin credibility, loyalty, respect and ease to do business with. As for that opportunistic chef that appears to endorse the product I say: "Enjoy the money that you suckered from your unsuspecting viewers!".
Use it Every Day
I think that those of you who are criticizing the shipping charges are missing the point of leaving product reviews. True, I bought mine at Kohl's so I didn't pay anything for shipping. If there is someone out there who is just looking for comments about the product itself, let me put my 2 cents in. I bought it, like most people, because the informercial was so effective. I was so excited to make the stuffed chicken, stuffed soup, bisquit sandwiches, and brownies! I have had no problems with the product. The outside of the food gets brown and crispy, and the insides are always prefectly cooked. It is so fast, I like to make whole-grain chocolate chip pancakes for my husband and myself in the morning, and it only takes like 7 minutes (no pouring out little circle batches on the griddle and flipping, and pouring more). You just fill it up and leave it. I seriously use it every day and love it. I have had no problems with keeping it clean. The nonstick surface hasn't given me any trouble. I just wipe it down with a paper towel after use. Hopefully you all will find this appliance as useful as we have!
Very Dangerous - stay away
After cleaning this thing black paint would come off the cooking surface and then wind up in your food. It's astonishing that they allow this to be sold on the market considering how dangerous it seems to be
Do not buy this product!!!
I purchased two of these units; one for myself and one for my mother. Both worked great for the first month, but even with lots of Pam and careful cleaning, the non-stick coating bubbled up and peeled off, making the food inedible. Now, no matter what I do, it's nearly impossible to clean. It's just not worth the money and effort. Both units went into the trash.
