Yuck
Gargling with salt water is good for a sore throat. But this stuff, a sort of slimy brine in a packet, is no more convenient, no more effective, and definitely more unpleasant than just dumping some salt in a glass of warm water and stirring it with your finger. You need to remember to carry it with you (you can always carry some salt packets from the deli). You still need some place to spit it out. You will definitely want to rinse your mouth out to get rid of the taste. Bad idea. Bad execution.

I use Simply Gargle even when I am not sick, it seems to clear up any itchy or hoarse throat situations. I have not been able to find it anywhere locally. They used to sell it at the local grocery store Waldbaum's. It is well worth the price. You will feel immediately better, especially if you are sick.

I used to get sick all the time because I am taking a pill to reduce my immune system because of my Auto Immune Disordor. I used to get a sore throat almost every other week and it will always turn into an infection and had to take an antibiotic too often. I was very skeptical when I first reviewed about this product. After over 40 years of battle with infections of throat and even lung, I wanted to try anything so I gargled with this every night and every morning. I couldn't believe the result because, so far, I haven't had any kind of throat or lung infection ever since I started gargle with this product.

simply works
I have been using this product for nearly a year and have so far escaped illness. My first reaction was that I could make this myself, but the other ingredients I would never have on hand, nor the patience to mix together (Witch Hazel Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Sage Extract, Rosemary Extract, Rosehips Extract) in the past my home concoctions have been far too salty.

Usually I wait until someone around me is sick and then I use these packets, in addition I take vitamins, and I have managed to evade a full cold in this time. The worst I get is the first signs of one and then it disapears soon after.

I will buy this product again. My only criticism is the packaging, which I think they designed to suit the traveling businessman or something, but I find it slightly wasteful use of plastic. I think the time has come for more responsible packaging, I would be happier if this product came in a bottle.

Simply Gargle
I don't like the taste, however, I do like the results. I would highly recommend this product during the winter months hopefully to avoid the colds from others. It's suppose to help defend us from those who are suffering colds.
