From the Editors

Organize your wines for easy access. Wine bottle tags let you arrange your wine collection so you can separate your Bordeaux from your Burgundy without having to read the wine labels. Differentiate wines that are ready to drink from those that are still aging. These perfectly cut wine bottle tags fit large Champagne bottlenecks (flange-tops, too) and won't slip off standard wine bottlenecks. Made of durable resin-coated paper that accepts any writing instrument. Each pack is only available with 25 of each color; blue, yellow, green and white for a total of 100 bottle tags. Colors are not sold separately.

Customer Response

Just the right size and shape
First, let me break the tie. These tags have a star-shaped set of slits around the hole and they can go on pretty much any wine bottle without having to rip it.

I've tried other labels and this one is just right for me. The kind that you tie on to the bottle are too cumbersome and my dogs like to take them off, maybe because they move with breezes. Plus these can be read at a glance instead of having to physically handle each label. And since they're made of regular (thin) cardboard, as opposed to a waxy surface, you can write on them with anything and it won't smear. I'm very happy with my new wine labels.

Captain Audio is mistaken
I believe Captain Audio thinks he reviewing another product. These tags DO have the slits around the hole that allow them to fit over many different size bottle necks. I've bought them regularly for years and have never found a bottle that I couldn't slip one onto. They're helpful in remembering where when and why I bought what I bought.
One note - I don't use the color coding at all, in fact, I use them flipped to the other side. It gives me more room to write notes about the wine.

Won't fit some bottles
I bought some of these and they are well made, but the hole is not flexible and only fits Bordeaux sized necks. There are some odd shaped mouths, like those on Rosemount Shiraz bottles that won't fit, and most Burgundy bottles won't fit. As a result, you have to tear the label to get it to go around the neck.

Amazon also sells another style of label which is made of a lesser quality paper, but it has slits around the opening so that it can fit any style neck and still stay securely on the necks of the smaller bottles. That is the one I'll be buying from now on.
